&
ANSWERS
I
have
flat
feet,
what
type
of supports
should
I use?
To answer
your
question
this
depends
on how
much
control
you
are
looking
for.
We would
have
to know
what
your
activities
are.
Do you
wear
dress
shoes,
casual
shoes
or sneakers?
You
will
find
that
when
placing
your
orders
there
are
several
simple
questions
to answer
and
since
our
supports
are
all
semi-custom,
they
will
be custimized
to your
specific
needs.
What
is an
Orthotic
by definition?
Orthotic
is the
science
pertaining
to mechanical
appliances
for
orthopedic
use.
Branch
of medical
science
that
deals
with
prevention
or correction
of disorders
involving
locomotor
structures
of the
body,
especially
the
skeleton,
joints,
muscles,
and
fascia.
Can
I use
my insurance
to buy
your
products?
We are
currently
working
on accepting
insurance
on the
web.
This
option
will
be available
some
time
in the
near
future..
How
are
your
Arch
Supports
different
from
other
brand
arch
supports?
Our
one
of a
kind
supports
are
molded
from
a high
density
polypropylene
medical
grade
plastic
and
arcylic
graphite.
This
polypropylene
plastic
mold
has
a semi-rigid
memory
maintaining
consistency
due
to its
ribbed
crossed
pattern
reinforcement
on the
plantar
aspect
making
this
support
superior
and
more
supportive,
maintaining
its
functional
dynamics
and
form
over
a greater
period
of time
then
most
over-the-counter
arch
supports.
Our
supports
are
one
of a
kind
and
no other
product
in the
market
can
compare
to them.
What
kind
of products
do you
sell?
We have
a wide
variety
of arch
supports
and
orthotics
as well
as a
large
selection
of Orthopaedic
supplies.
Some
of our
products
for
example
are
over
the
counter
cushion
insoles,
silicone
and
gel
foot
products.
We cover
a full
spectrum
of orthopedic
over
the
counter,
post-op,
rehabilitation,
sports
and

and

Can
I get
a Custom
made
arch
support?
Yes,
we can
customize
an arch
support
for
your
lifestyle,
type
of shoe
wear
or which
can
provide
you
with
greater
Comfort,
Balance,
and
Support.
Foot
prints
will
help
determine
the
proper
customized
shape
and
size
orthotic
for
your
feet.
How
should
I expect
to feel
when
first
wearing
these
orthotics?
Initially
upon
the
usage
of supports
primarily
the
biomechanical
orthotics,
there
might
be some
strain
and
tension
in the
beginning
first
hours
of usage,
if this
occurs
we recommend
initial
use
of two
to four
hours
daily
for
the
first
two
weeks
then
increase
weekly
the
amount
of use
until
you
have
become
to the
use
of them.
This
discomfort
in
the
beginning
stage
of use
is do
to the
orthotics
creating
soft
and
muscle
tension
against
the
deformed
or weakened
foot
and/or
arch.
Once
muscle
tone
has
been
established
by the
use
of these
orthotics,
optimal
support
level
of control
and
comfort
has
been
achieved.
Can
I pay
by check?
or Order
by Mail
No,
not
at the
moment.
My
question
regards
flat
feet.
Can
flat
feet
affect
the
neck
and
shoulders?
No there
is no
conclusive
evidence
that
flat
feet
affect
the
neck
and
shoulders
even
though
it is
a concept
accepted
by the
chiropractic
field
and
I personally
think
of it
more
like
in a
chain
reaction.
Flat
feet
does
affect
the
ankles,
the
knees,
the
hips
to a
certain
extent
and
the
lower
back
but
I cannot
say
that
it does
affect
the
neck
and
shoulders.
